如何接收紧急及恶劣天气警报？

All students, faculty and staff can receive emergency alerts — including closure and delay announcements due to inclement weather — through Pellissippi 警报. To check that you have signed up to receive emergency alerts, go to myPellissippi’s home page. Under "Student Forms" find the “Online Services” tab, choose “Sign Up for PSCC Emergency Text Messages” and provide your cell phone number. Be sure to select this number is for “Emergency Contact.” 如果您已经注册了紧急警报，则不需要再次注册。 Additionally, inclement weather announcements will always be posted to the college’s homepage, and social media accounts and will be sent to local media outlets for broadcast.

What If the College Is Open, But I Can’t Travel?

Once you arrive on campus, you’re likely to find that campus is safer than area roads — thanks to the efforts of the Facilities crews who arrive early to clear walkways and parking lots. 然而，你的安全很重要。 If you don’t feel that it is safe to travel, don’t. 如果你是学生，联系你的老师，告诉他们你不会去上课。 如果你是一名员工，如果你不来上班，就通知你的主管。 如果学院开放，但员工无法到达工作，该员工将需要休年假或无薪休假。
